Class Act Policies
Parents’ Responsibility:
It is the parents’ responsibility to be aware of dates and events. We will post all notices in the lobby and emails will be sent to your email on file. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ ALL EMAILS AND NEWSLETTERS. Also, please make sure your email and all other contact information is always up to date in Studio Director as that is how we contact you.
Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruptions:
If classes are canceled, they will be rescheduled. An email will be sent when classes are canceled due to inclement weather and this announcement will also be posted on the website under the Updates/News page, as well as on Instagram.
Substitute Teacher:
We reserve the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach.
Food and Drinks:
FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE DANCE ROOMS OR DRESSING ROOM. A water bottle is permitted in class. Food and drinks must be consumed in the lobby. We have a NO GUM policy.
Attendance:
Recital Costumes:
Costumes are ordered in November. Deposits for costumes ($50 per costume) are due at that time.
Tuition:
Tuition is due the 1st of each month or will be pulled automatically on the 15th of each month with your card on file. If tuition is not paid by the 15th of each month a $10 late fee will be applied. There are NO REFUNDS on monthly or paid in full tuition.
Fees:
- Registration Fee
- $25 due at sign up ($15 for every additional child)
- Late Fee
- Tuition is due the 1st of each month or will be pulled automatically on the 15th of each month with your card on file. If tuition is not paid by the 15th of each month a $10 late fee will be applied. This additional late fee will continue until balance is paid off
- Insufficient Funds
- $30 fee will be charged
- Declined Card
- $30 fee will be charged
- Credit Card transactions will be charged 3% (excludes tuition)
- Recital Fee
- $70 first dancer; $10 each additional dancer
- Covers 2 recital tickets, 1 dress rehearsal pass, recital t-shirt, digital download of recital

Class Absences and Make-ups:
If you are going to be absent, please call the studio so we can notify the teacher. Dancers have the option to make up a class by attending a class of the same type. Classes must be made up within one month of being absent. Please call the studio to arrange a time for a make-up lesson.
Dress Code:
Dress code for each class is designated through our online store with Discount Dance Supply. Use Teacher Code 141979 when shopping on the DDS site.
Assumptions:
It is assumed that every dancer that signs up in the fall will commit to the entire year and will perform in our annual recital in June. Please let Amy know if you do not plan to participate in the recital.
